To Theme or Not to Theme, Part Two

Here are a few links to get you into themes and the current 2014 trends for kids.  The Kidswear Trend and Brand Office may help you better understand the parameters of your design realm and the needs of your business enterprise and that of your retailers.

We hope this next link works.  If the link does not direct you, head over to Playtime New York and click on Reports. The 7th Edition of Playtime New York had 1412 visitors.  Playtime bills itself as a “unique trade show with a selection of the best American and international brands.”

This report states, Eager to help guide buyers in their activities, Playtime proposed three trend spaces at the fair, each featuring a selection of pieces that illustrated the coming trends for Summer 2014:

• Supergraphic: hypnotic geometry and flashy colors
• Starfish: shine, iridescent reflections & sailor motifs for a “sea punk” look.
• Green carpet: long live green hype attitude, featuring natural tones & materials”
